The Iron Bridge, Shropshire

This photo of the Iron Bridge was taken back in 2023 while driving back from a week’s holiday in Knighton with my wife. We had a short break in the town of Ironbridge, which is well worth a visit. A big problem is that there are loads of tourists, and it has difficult parking.

After looking round the town we went for a pint at the All Nations pub in Madely. This pub is a must; it’s one of the four historic brewhouses that were left in the seventies. It’s a pub I need to return to.

Because of the weather, and the time I’m spending writing my own website generator, I’ve not been out taking photos very often this year. This’ll probably continue until the spring, though I have a short visit to Newcastle coming up in early March. So, for now, I’ll be showing photos from my archive.
