Seventy Years Old Today
20th April 2025
The photo is of the River Mersey at low tide, at the Ferry Tavern, Penketh.
I’ve not been looking forward to this day, seventy is a lot of years. Mind you, 25,568 days, 613,632 hours, 36,817,920 minutes and 2,209,075,200 seconds old are a lot bigger.
I’m off to Liverpool for drinks at two of my favourite pubs there. The Vernon Arms and The Ship and Mitre.
